GGD Report

The GGD childcare inspector visits the childcare center annually to check whether it meets the national quality requirements.

The role of the municipality

The GGD inspections are carried out on behalf of the municipality where the childcare center is located. The municipality is responsible for supervision and enforcement.

The inspection report

The GGD inspector draws up an inspection report after the visit. This is sent to both the childcare center and the municipality. Parents also have the right to view this report; it should be available for inspection at the childcare center, or can be viewed via the website of the childcare center in question. The inspection reports provide a snapshot and remain on the website until a new report is written. These inspection reports concern the regular annual inspections. In the event that a further investigation or signal investigation takes place in the meantime, this inspection report will be added to the website. The inspection reports are available on the website of the National Register of Childcare and Playgroups (LRKP).
